Buddhika Weerasinghe is an editorial photographer who based in Japan.

In 2000, he started his freelance photography career after working for two local newspapers for ten years. He traveled to the civil war zone in Sri Lanka while the peace process was underway, exploring through photography how the peace process affects people's daily lives and the changes in the armed movement during a peace process.

He has moved to Japan in end of 2009, started again his photography journey career as freelancer.

He is responsible photographer for taking clear, dynamic photos according to client demands.
